WEST OF BALLY (9) has produced two moderate performances. Fifth in a Galway maiden hurdle was a step forward and fitter now looks capable of lifting sharply. OPERA POINT (14) had a good freshen on seasonal return when beaten a long way in a Clonmel chase. Strips fitter and appeals as expected to improve. BUTCH COOLIDGE (2) resumes after eighty eight days. His seventh at Kilbeggan offered signs of encouragement and with glimpses of hurdling ability is in the mix. Expect him to be competitive. CASTLE CROIUIL (4) also needed the run when well beaten when resuming at Clonmel. Fitter and could progress.
