GAELIC DES CHASTYS (5) looked assured winning a chase (2m3 1/2f) at Listowel two runs ago. Backed it up with a strong second last start attempting a hurdle (2m5f) here beaten just 2L. Sets the benchmark again. MACIVER (6) resumes after 236 days having finished 17L fifth in a chase (2m7f) at Clonmel prior. Usually improves fresh and a bold return is expected. PERFECTWAY (14) was a long way from the winner at Wexford. Left that effort behind when improving to finish 7L fourth at Clonmel. Deserves another chance. JOHNNY CAKES (7) resumed with a solid effort beaten 2L at Galway. Will strip fitter and can build on that performance.
