KAKIA (2) held on well to finish third last time out over 6¾f at Devonport Synthetic after leading for much of the way. Well-placed and will take catching. CRAZY ATOM (11) returns from a short break after finishing ninth over 6¾f at Devonport Synthetic. Kept ticking over since that run with a trial win at Launceston. Rates highly and sure to be competitive. TAHITIAN WARRIOR (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when fifth in a 1m2 1/2f contest at Hobart five-and-a-half weeks ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. LION'S TOOTH (10) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a sixth over 6¾f at Devonport Synthetic. Placed to advantage and can run a better race.
