Race Tip

FURNEAUX (3) pushed forward from a wide draw last start and found a position close to the lead before sticking on well to finish third over 7f at Hobart. Hard to beat in this suitable race. PASHEONA (6) has enjoyed a let-up of five weeks since she won when resuming over 5¾f at Devonport Synthetic, scoring by a nose. Open to plenty of improvement and she is a major player again. ELMAJAY (11) finished second at Devonport Synthetic two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 5f at Devonport Synthetic, finishing 6 lengths back in eighth after being prominent at the corner. Likely improver with strong prospects. QUICKEN UP (5) went forward and gave a great sight when second over 5¾f at Devonport Synthetic last time out. Will find this tougher but cannot be underestimated.
