SO LONG AGO (6) made it two wins in succession last time out when she scored by 1. 3 lengths over 1m1 1/2f at this track. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot score again. BROADHURST (7) started at 5/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 6 lengths at Cranbourne over 1m2f. Faces an easier assignment so she will be hard to beat. HOLLY'S STAR (9) hit the frame two starts ago at Cranbourne but ran below par last time when seventh and beaten 9 lengths over 1m4 1/2f at Pakenham. The engagement of Billy Egan is a positive move. Won't find this as tough so she is one of the main contenders. AVONVIEW (11) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 1. 2 lengths over 1m1 3/4f at Yarra Valley. Suitably placed so anticipating another bold showing.
