YARD OF ALE (8) finished out of the money two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 10 lengths when seventh over 1m at Ballarat two-and-a-half weeks ago. Has the class to find the winners' list. BORN SURVIVOR (1) spotted them a big start last time out and could only manage to finish tenth over 1m1 3/4f at Yarra Valley. Blinkers on should sharpen him right up. SO VOGUE (3) could only manage to finish fifth, beaten 4. 5 lengths, after being in contention on the turn at his latest appearance over 1m at Wangaratta. Likely to be thereabouts.
