EL TERCERO (4) hasn't been too far away of late, the latest effort a fifth, beaten 2 lengths, at Pakenham over 6f. Racing well without winning and gets his chance to break through. DEMARCATE (12) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when seventh over 5½f at Ballarat after he got a long way back. Should be peaking now and is among the leading chances. VIASAIN (11) is having his first run since June 16. Goes very well when fresh - has not been out of the money in three when resuming runs and did win over 5f at Pakenham at the start of last prep. Will strip fitter following a recent trial win. Will be hard to stop. MARTY MCFLY (9) scored last start at Tatura to make it two wins from three starts this campaign. Should park just off the speed. Deserves respect on best figures.
