SHANGHAI VENTURE (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f147yards at Geelong, beaten 8 lengths into sixth. Nicely placed to take this out. SELF SERVE (6) hadn't been far away prior to finishing 4. 5 lengths adrift in ninth last start over 5¼f at Morphettville. Will find this easier. Will be hard to stop. DRONE ATTACK (1) finished third last time over 6f at Echuca when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 1. 5 lengths. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race. PURE RAIN (8) was narrowly beaten at her latest appearance at Ballarat Synthetic over 7f five months ago. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with three minor placings. Definite top-three chance.
