AFFIRMATIVE LAD (1) wound up strongly at the end of 6f at this track last time out, finishing a nose away in third. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and two minor placings from four outings. Strong claims on best figures. MALDINI (5) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 6f at Seymour when resuming after a break. Top-three prospects.
