SHADES OF SHERIFF (3) was in the firing line all the way and fought on for third last start over 1m4 3/4f at Pakenham, making it two minor placings in a row. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. DALI'S PICASSO (5) is a four-start maiden who finished eighth at his most recent outing over 1m1/2f at Sale. This looks a nice race so expect him to be right in the finish. GOTCHA MOMENT (6) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Ararat, beaten 2.5 lengths into sixth. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. SHOWTIME SONIC (8) was at long odds on debut last time out and finished fifth, beaten 2.2.5 lengths, over 1m at Ararat. Open to plenty of improvement.
