COLONEL HATHI (5) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1m at Echuca. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. LORD DEVENISH (2) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 7½f at Mornington, beaten 3 lengths. Nicely placed to go a couple better. FIVE STAR KING (7) was prominent until they straightened last time but weakened to finish tenth, beaten 13 lengths, over 1m at Pakenham. Likely to be thereabouts.
