DEMON BLOOD (2) finished fourth last start over 5f122yards at this track after racing on the pace for much of the way. Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. IT' Set Weights HATYOUMAKEIT (1) returned from a break last start and drifted well back before closing powerfully to score over 5f at Yarra Valley, getting home by 1.75 lengths. Will spot a start but wind up late and is among the chances again. FUGACITY (4) improved sharply last time out to score by 1.3 lengths over 5½f at Avoca two-and-a-half weeks ago. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish.
