Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. GOOD ONYA DARL (1) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 2 lengths when sixth in a 6f contest at Mornington a week-and-a-half ago after being in the firing line on the bend. Has the talent to take this out. PROVEN SOUL (4) is a maiden galloper who finished in the placings over 6f at Kyneton before going for a break five months ago. Fitter for two trials, placing most recently. Should be competitive. VESCOVI (6) finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5f at Yarra Valley, beaten 1.75 lengths. Should take a lot from that hit-out. In the right race and is one of the better hopes.
