Race Tip

THUNDER FORCE (3) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Benalla but raced below expectations last time over 1m at Colac, finishing sixth and beaten 4.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Nicely placed to turn things around. COCO JEN (2) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when second at Bendigo over 1m, beaten a nose. Cherry-ripe now. Has a wide gate to overcome but will still be competitive. GALPIN (6) broke her maiden last start over 7f58yards at Kyneton, scoring by 1.5 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Harder here but should be involved in the finish. UNIVERSALLY (4) returned from a lay-off four weeks ago when she was beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth over 7f at Pakenham. Fitter so can figure in the finish.
