PAT'S BRO (6) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 7f at Terang when second, beaten a head. Tricky draw to overcome but a big run is anticipated. BON FETE (10) was narrowly beaten last start when second in a small field over 1m at Sale on soft going. Will drift back but wind up late. Leading contender. MRS PENNY CRACKER (9) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 5 lengths over 1m at Benalla. Will enjoy a drop in class so she is perfectly placed to score. RUN FOR PROPHET (2) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fifth, beaten 1.75 lengths, over 7f at Bendigo. One of the main contenders.
