TORO DE CARGA (9) settled well back last start and never threatened when 11 lengths from the winner in tenth over 6f at Toowoomba. Nicely placed to make amends. ARIAT (8) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at her last couple of runs including a third most recently over 6f at Toowoomba when beaten 4.5 lengths. Will find this a little easier than last time. Leading contender. BETTER STRINGS (16) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a neck from the winner in third over 7f at Gatton. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. ABOVE THE SKY (3) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 11 lengths away in 13th over 1m at Sunshine Coast. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
