ALTERNATE (2) was heavily backed and justified the support when resuming last start over 7f at Berrigan, scoring by a neck. WESTERN LANE (3) accounted for a maiden field over 6f at Echuca last start, finishing 0. 8 lengths ahead of the nearest rival. Re-unites with Jake Duffy who was on board last start. This is tougher but he is capable of another big run. BOULDER JACK (6) was in contention on the turn and finished second last start over 7f at Echuca, beaten 0. 8 lengths. Should take a lot from that hit-out. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
