MINESITE (3) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 3. 5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 5f at Echuca. The engagement of John Keating is noteworthy. Has the class to find the winners' list. BEFORE THE WAR (2) finished second at Echuca two runs back but was less effective last time over 6f at Pakenham, finishing 6 lengths back in sixth after being in contention on the turn. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. KAMEZALI (5) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on August 13, finishing fifth and beaten 3. 5 lengths over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside. Has switched to the Taige Weir stable. Worth plenty of thought. SURPRISATIC (1) scored last start at Swan Hill to make it four wins from eight starts this campaign. Form at this distance is strong with three wins from four starts and is one of the better hopes.
