PENNYS CHOICE (6) was in the firing line on the bend and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 5f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. WHATASTAR (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at this track, beaten 1.75 lengths into fifth after being prominent at the turn. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. BLUE LAGOON (5) is a three-year-old filly who was purchased for ZAR R 1,000,000 (Bloodstock South Africa 2024 National Yearling Sale). Top jockey Corne Orffer aboard. Hard to assess, so will pay to keep safe.
