VAPOUR TRAIL (2) is a two-start maiden who was close to a win before a nine weeks break, finishing off with a minor placing at this track. Tackling a bit more ground this time. Has ability and sure to prove tough to beat. GOLD DUST (4) missed the placings on debut two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.3 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m at Durbanville after being in contention on the bend. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. KONNICHIWA (8) finished second last start over 7f at this track to make it two minor placings from eight runs. Has a solid record here with two top-three finishes to his name. Sure to be about the money again. LOUI'S STAR (12) finished fourth at this track and distance at her last appearance 12 weeks ago. Worth plenty of thought.
