ALABAMA CHARM (8) gave away a considerable start over 6f at Warwick Farm last time before hitting the line well to finish sixth. Looks suited here and rates a major contender. THE IRON STAR (4) was fresh from a break of five months last start when beaten 3. 5 lengths into fourth over 6½f at Newcastle after he gave away a big start. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. One of the main contenders. SHE'S A DAME (5) raced on the speed from the outset when resuming last start and finished third, beaten 1. 5 lengths, over 6f at Gosford. Likely improver with bright prospects. NEFERUSOBEK (7) missed the placings on debut two starts back then ran a better race and finished 2 lengths away in fourth last time out over 6½f at this track. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish.
