APERITAS (9) wasn't far away on debut last start over 6f at Gosford, finishing fourth and beaten 2 lengths. Should improve sharply and this looks a nice race. COLD MIST (1) was thereabouts last time out when second at Moruya over 6½f, beaten one length. Cherry-ripe now. Will find this a little tougher but he is a leading contender. DIVINE TIMING (11) finished 0. 6 lengths from the winner in second on debut last start over 5½f at Goulburn. Likely improver so another top-three finish is on the cards. DON'T (2) was always well out of his ground when 8 lengths from the winner in sixth over 5½f at Gosford last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth on debut at Hawkesbury the run before. Goes up a rung or two but he is capable of running a bold race.
