PAZYRYK (8) resumes from a lay-off of 11 months and is having her first outing under new trainer Michael Freedman. Finished fifth at Canterbury over 5½f at the opening run last time in work. Ran fifth in a trial at Randwick Kensington over 4¼f recently. Will prove tough to beat. AT HER MERCY (5) returned last time with a solid second at Wagga over 5f after being prominent at the bend. This is a more suitable contest and can get the job done. MAJESTIC LEGEND (12) has been freshened up since racing on the speed and fading to finish sixth over 5½f at Gosford on November 22. Should be poised just off the lead. Will be in this for a long way. ANDHE'S BRAVE (10) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 4 lengths back in fifth over 5f at Canberra. Solid top-three prospects.
