Expecting a bold showing. PRETTY SASSY (8) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1. 75 lengths away in fourth last time out over 7½f at this track. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. NANTUCKET ISLAND (2) turned in a modest performance when fifth last start over 7f at Rosehill, beaten 12 lengths. That followed a good when resuming win at this track. Finds the right race this time and can return to winning ways. TOKYO STAR (4) was in contention on the bend and finished second last time over 6¾f at Beaumont (Newcastle) when resuming from a lay-off, beaten a head. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question.
