JARED (2) faded right out of it last time over 6¼f at Newcastle after showing good early speed and leading for much of the way, eventually finishing eighth. Although yet to score at this distance has been in the frame at all four runs and is sure to run well. CUBAN RAIN (3) was too good for a maiden field last start over 6½f at this track, scoring by 1.75 lengths. Re-unites with Brock Ryan who was on board last start. Sure to prove tough to beat again with that win now under her belt. BUTTERFLY STYLE (5) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 6f at Sapphire Coast, scoring by a nose. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and she is a great chance to go back-to-back. CRUSADER RAZOR (6) was easily accounted for when fifth last start over 6f at Goulburn, beaten 5 lengths after a good when resuming win at Gunnedah. Worth plenty of thought.
