LYLES (3) held on well to finish second when when resuming from a break last time out over 6f at Rosehill after leading for much of the way. Sure to go well. MONTE VEEBEE (4) resumes from a lay-off of five-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish fifth at the latest run over 7f at Rosehill. No surprise if he was able to get off the mark. MISSION GOLD (1) settled back on debut last time out but wound up strongly in the run home to finish second over 5f at this track. Improver with a solid top-three chance. GOOD HOTSPUR (14) is a two-start maiden who returned last time and finished fourth at Canterbury over 5½f, beaten 4.5 lengths. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time.
