POCKETING (14) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 6½f at Hawkesbury when coming back from a lay-off. Winning rider Lee Magorrian sticks. Sure to run well. FIRST MISSION (13) got off the mark over 6½f at Hawkesbury last start, scoring by 1.4 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Kerrin Mcevoy was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Capable of making it two on the trot. MERCHANT LADY (8) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 6¼f at Newcastle. Will be doing her best work late. AMERICAN STARLET (5) was a determined winner in a then raced on the speed last time before finishing seventh over 7f at Hawkesbury. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. One of the better hopes.
