SHAMBRETTA (6) will find this a little easier than his second on debut two weeks ago, beaten 0.6 lengths at the end of 6½f at Hawkesbury. Will benefit from that experience so he should be in the finish again. OH DIAMOND LIL (10) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound third over 6f at Canterbury after being in contention on the bend. Has the class to break through. ALTAIR I AM (1) was in the money at Hawkesbury when resuming two runs back then could only manage fourth at Canterbury over 7¾f four weeks ago. Has ability and expected to feature. MONTIGO BAY (8) turned in an eye-catching run last time out over 6½f at Hawkesbury, charging home from well back to finish 0.7 lengths away in second. Should be at her peak now so she is right in the mix again.
