Will drift back but is expected to be in the finish again. PENITENT (8) showed good early speed when resuming last start over this journey at Goulburn before finishing second, beaten 0.6 lengths. Taking on a better line-up this time but she is up to the challenge. BALLET D'ESPRIT (2) has not raced since she finished third over 6¼f at Canterbury on February 9. Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. Best figures measure up favourably. TO THE EXTREME (3) resumes after six months and looks ready following a comfortable Randwick trial win. Will find this easier. Solid claims on best form.
