SPOTTHEFAKER (3) started this campaign with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when ninth over 6½f at Newcastle, beaten 10 lengths. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. AIX EN PROVENCE (1) was too good for a maiden field last start over 7f at this track, scoring by one length. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Grant Buckley was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Progressing well so worth following up. POGACAR (2) has not won for a long while. Last raced on May 4 when beaten 7 lengths into 13th at Newcastle over 7½f. Placed to advantage so expect a better run this time. STEELY GIRL (4) hit the frame two starts ago at Goulburn but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 3.5 lengths over 7½f at Hawkesbury. Well placed and should be about the mark.
