MR CALEB (3) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to just miss out over 6f at Newcastle. Look for another barnstorming finish. MARCHESI (2) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound third over 5½f at Canterbury when he did his best work late. In the right race and is a winning hope. SPANISH FOX (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7¾f at Canterbury, beaten 2.75 lengths into seventh after being prominent at the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. AL FLORES (7) was unplaced on debut then last start finished third over 7f at Hawkesbury. Looks to be in the right race so another bold effort is on the cards.
