Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is right in contention. PROVEN HOPE (2) bounced back last start and got the job done by 3.5 lengths after being in contention on the turn over 1m1/4f at Sam Houston Park (Dirt). Meeting a deeper field this time but he can go back-to-back. BOITANO (5) made it three wins on the bounce last time out when he scored by 2.5 lengths over 1m at Fairgrounds (Turf). Winning rider Axel Concepcion retains the mount. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. EXECUTIVE ACTION (4) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 1m1f at Oaklawn Park (Dirt), beaten 7 lengths. Fitter for that run. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race.
