BIG PLAYER (2) is back at the races for the first time since September 22. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6f at this track. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with two minor placings from four tries. One of the genuine hopes in the race. GIBRALTAR GOLD (5) broke through for her maiden win over 5½f at this track last time. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Shaping up nicely and she is worth including. SNIPER'S SON (1) resumed a week-and-a-half ago over 5½f at Northam and was only beaten 0.8 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the turn. Ideally placed and is sure to make amends. CALL TIME (7) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 6f at this track, finishing third and beaten a long neck. Suitably placed so anticipating another bold showing.
