Will prove tough to beat. METAL MAN (2) resumed over 5f last time out and turned in a solid effort to finish third at Gold Coast after he gave away a big start. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Expected to run well. ARDIE THREE (4) wasted no time getting off the mark on debut over 6f at Sunshine Coast two-and-a-half weeks ago. Has upside and looks a key runner. BOOMSHANKA (13) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 6f at this track, finishing fourth and beaten 2. 25 lengths. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role.
