ELEVATING (4) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at her second outing when in contention on the turn, finishing a neck from the winner in second at the end of 7f at Gold Coast. Looks well placed so expect another big run. MADAME DOUBTFIRE (7) returned from a break last start with a less than impressive sixth over 6f at Mackay after travelling back in the field from the outset. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question. NIFTY'S TREASURE (6) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 8 lengths when eighth over 6f at Toowoomba five days ago. Must raise the bar but this looks well within her grasp. HOT SUN (5) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was always well out of his ground over 7f at Gold Coast, beaten 14 lengths into seventh. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time.
