SIR MEMPHIS (5) accounted for a maiden field over 6f at Kilcoy last start, finishing 0. 9 lengths ahead of the nearest rival. Sure to prove tough to beat again with that win now under his belt. YEAH COPY (7) didn't do a bad job when second last start after being in contention on the corner over 6¾f at this track, beaten 0. 8 lengths. That followed a win at Gatton the start prior. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. WEST CORK (14) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third when resuming last time out over 6f at Kilcoy. Must raise the bar but he has the talent to test this line-up. BRAVE HORATIUS (9) won at Toowoomba two starts ago but was below his best at a more recent appearance, finishing fifth over 5½f at this track. Well placed to make amends.
