DELICIOUS DEREK (6) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Canterbury but couldn't back it up last start when sixth, beaten 8 lengths, over 7f at Warwick Farm. Has the class to take care of this field. SHAQUE D'AMOUR (22) was beaten 2. 5 lengths into third at this track two starts ago then finished 3 lengths from the winner in fourth last time at Doomben. Should be parked just off the speed. Overdue and expected to go very well. VILLANDRY (19) closed off strongly last start to get up for third, beaten a head, over 5¼f at Rockhampton when resuming after a break. Sure to be thereabouts. ICYMISS (12) has been in the betting at both starts but has failed to live up to market expectations. Most recently finished fourth over 5½f at Gold Coast, beaten 4. 5 lengths. Deserves another chance.
