LI'L REX (11) finished ninth last start over 5½f at this track after racing on the pace for much of the way. Expected to be in this for a long way. BAD FOREST (1) last appeared eight weeks ago over 4f65yards at Gatton when he finished ninth. This is his first run for the Jesse Townsend stable. Will be tuned-up for this and is expected to run well. GOODES (2) finished third two runs back at Gatton then improved last time out to score by 1.75 lengths over 4f65yards at Gatton. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves plenty of thought. DON'T BE DRAMATIC (6) last appeared when he finished 11th over 7f152yards at Gold Coast Poly on April 26. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
