PIANIST (7) came from well back on cornering and hit the line strongly to score over 4f at this track last time out. Solid record here at this trip, winning four races from 11 runs. Sure to be putting in the big strides late again. UCHI (3) returned from a break with a win by a long neck over 4f76yards at Toowoomba making it three straight. Same winning combination as last time and can measure up again. MAGURO (5) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.75 lengths from the winner in second over 4f at this track. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. VOULAIT (4) showed good early speed and led into the straight before fading to finish fourth, beaten 4 lengths, over 5½f at Toowoomba. Has ability and a bold showing is expected.
