SLEIGH QUEEN (2) raced on the speed when resuming last start over this course and distance and stuck on well to finish second, beaten 2 lengths. In the right race and is a key runner. TALANA (4) returned to winning ways last time out, running away with an impressive 3.5 lengths win over 6½f at Toowoomba. Dylan Bennett in the saddle again and despite getting up in the weights he should go very well. ZATTASTAR (9) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just three wins from 30 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when seventh over 6f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. Nicely placed to figure in the outcome. BELYAEV (10) finished third last time over 7f at Gatton, beaten 2.5 lengths. Meeting a deeper field this time but she is good enough to play a major role.
