HOLD MY HALO (3) started at 9/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 1.3 lengths at Townsville over 6½f after being in contention on the bend. Has the class to figure prominently. MADAME MOTH (6) resumed a week-and-a-half ago over 5f at Bowen and was only beaten 2 lengths into fifth. It doesn't get any easier but with added fitness she is one of the chief contenders. PRIDEOFTHEBIGFISH (4) finished 1.5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 5f at Bowen, an improvement on his seventh at Townsville the run before. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. POWER PUFF (9) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Atherton, beaten 5.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Strips fitter and can improve.
