GEE GEES ME BOY (1) scored at this track last time out with one length in reserve at the end of 6f. Has three wins here. Chloe Wells stays on. Well placed and should be in the finish. NAVARRE RIVER (4) was prominent at the corner and after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. LADY GALADRIEL (5) had been going okay but was safely held last start when fifth over 5½f at Launceston. Deserves another chance. MASTRETTA (3) raced on the speed from the outset when resuming last start and finished third, beaten 5 lengths, over 5¾f at Devonport Synthetic. Likely improver with winning claims.
