SNOW EAGLE (3) finished 2.25 lengths back in third over 1m at this track last time out after a gutsy win when resuming from a lay-off two runs back. David Pires stays aboard and although yet to win has been in the money on two occasions. Fitter and looks sure to play a big role. GO JEANIE (2) was leading on the turn and fought on to finish second over 6¾f at Devonport Synthetic at her latest appearance. Facing a tougher assignment but expected to measure up. DYNAMIC DEEL (6) resumed over 1m1/4f at Devonport Synthetic last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by a nose. Open to plenty of improvement and another big run will not surprise. CAPTAIN TAZ (12) has not won for a long while. Last raced on August 24 when beaten 2.75 lengths into ninth at this track over 7f after being prominent at the bend. Placed to advantage so expect a better run this time.
