CRACK THE SHUTTERS (7) will find this a little easier than her second on debut four weeks ago, beaten a long neck at the end of 5½f in the LR Elwick 2YO Stakes at this track. Promising type with improvement to come so she should be in the finish again. STAR FORTIAN (8) comes back in class after finishing 8 lengths away in seventh over 6f at Launceston two weeks ago when she was in the firing line until straightening. Can figure in the finish back in this company. WOLF JUNIOR (4) turned in a moderate effort on debut last start when sixth in the LR Elwick 2YO Stakes at this track over 5½f, beaten 4 lengths. Capable of much more this time. BRIGHT NIGHT (5) is a two-year-old filly on debut by Needs Further from Saigon Moonlight who has been an outstanding producer including winners at black type level. Was out of the placings at Devonport Synthetic at her most recent trial. Looks set to make a positive start to her career despite a tricky draw.
