LIKEAKALIX (1) has been a regular in the winners' stall of late including last start in dominant fashion over 1m2 1/2f in the LR Hobart Guineas at Launceston. Winning rider David Pires retains the mount. Meeting a tougher field but on current form he is one of the chief contenders. MOORLANDS MISS (6) is a model of consistency with top-three finishes at her last four starts, most recently finishing second over 1m at this track. Leading contender. GARCON D'ESPOIR (2) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fourth, beaten 7 lengths, over 1m2 1/2f in the LR Hobart Guineas at Launceston after he was in the firing line on the bend. Has further improvement to come and is expected to run well. TRACK PATCHER (4) broke his maiden four starts back and has not been far away since, most recently when beaten 1.3 lengths into second over 1m3/4f at Geelong. Big jump in class but can figure in the finish.
