SCANDOVAL (3) was well in commission last time out but could only manage to finish eighth over 1m at Woolamai in a disappointing performance. Nicely placed to make amends. ZEUSMAS (6) hit the frame two starts ago at Drouin but ran below par last time when seventh and beaten 3. 5 lengths over 1m2 1/2f at Stony Creek. Finds a nice race and can find winning form. GUNNAFLY (5) showed early speed from an outside draw last time then tired over the final stages to finish seventh, beaten 6 lengths, over 1m1f at Hanging Rock. Better than the last run and is among the chances. LORD CHAPEL (11) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 8 lengths away in seventh over 1m1 1/2f at Merton. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
