Conditions could be perfect for the unexposed grey chaser GREY DAWNING (1) who is trained by Dan Skelton. Went close in this twelve months ago on reappearance then rounded out the season with a good second in the G1 Aintree Bowl. With the yard starting this season in spectacular form he could be primed for a massive run resuming. HAITI COULEURS (2) won recommencing hurdling at Newbury earlier in the month. It remains to be seen just how good the Rebecca Curtis four-time chase winner could be over fences. May prove the main threat. HANDSTANDS (3) might strip fitter and appreciate going back up in trip after finishing second in the Listed Colin Parker Memorial Intermediate Chase. ROYALE PAGAILLE (4) could go well if the ground gets testing.
