MA SHANTOU (5) could be destined for the staying hurdle division based on the way he dispatched a useful field at Cheltenham returning last month. Receives a 10lb penalty in the weights for that success however remains open to progress and can complete a double. HARTINGTON (17) races bottom of the weights and could prove a major threat having shaped as though this stiffer stamina test would suit when edging home making his reappearance in a handicap hurdle at Carlisle. The progressive ACE OF SPADES (11) won nicely resuming at Aintree recently. Will have no problem stepping back up in trip. HORACES PEARL (7) is another to note.
