COSMIC EAGLE (5) drifted back and never got into the race when 5 lengths from the winner in seventh last start over 5½f at this track. Blinkers go on. Looks a top chance. DEFIANCE (1) ran well on debut last start to finish third over 5½f at Warwick Farm in a tougher race. Has plenty of upside so he should be in the finish. ALEUTIAN (4) is a North Pacific filly who was an AUD $ 55,000 (Magic Millions 2024 Adelaide Yearling Sale) purchase. Well educated with five trials. Worth consideration.
