Set Weights ELTER (15) gave away a considerable start over 6½f at Warwick Farm last time before hitting the line well to finish fourth. Will drift back but is sure to prove tough to beat. ROTAGILLA (9) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Canterbury, beaten 3.5 lengths. Strips fitter and can make amends. DARK VADOR (20) stuck on well last start to finish third over 6½f at Newcastle after showing good early speed. Worth noting Ashley Morgan goes aboard. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race. GENDARMERIE (17) is building towards a win with placings at her last two runs, the latest effort a third over 7¾f at Canterbury when beaten 2.25 lengths. Will appreciate a drop in grade. Don't underestimate.
